Wired is reporting that they are hearing rumors that Apple could introduce a “premium” section on the App Store, where developers could sell more expensive third-party iPhone apps.

Wired believes that creating this “velvet rope” section on the App Store would make it friendlier for game publishers, as well as enterprise software companies such as SAP that would otherwise prefer to focus on the more business-user targeted BlackBerry phones.
